YOUTH AMBASSADORS PROGRAM 2009 |
Program Description:
The Youth Ambassadors Program, an initiative of the U.S. Embassy in Argentina, in partnership with the Fulbright Commission, Partners of the Americas, and public and private organizations in both countries, is designed to send outstanding Argentine secondary school students to the United States for two weeks to learn about U.S. society and culture and to share Argentina’s culture with people in the United States. Through this exchange program, the Youth Ambassadors will strengthen ties of friendship, improve their English, and also acquire new ideas for community service.
Duration of the program:
March 24-27 Program in Buenos Aires
March 27 Depart for the U.S.
April 11 Depart for Argentina
April 12 Arrive Buenos Aires
April 13 End of Program – Return to hometowns
