YOUNG ARGENTINE AND URUGUAYAN POLITICIANS TRAVEL TO THE U.S.

Ambassador Lino Gutierrez met with young Argentine politicians who will be going to the United States for two weeks on a program organized by the American Council of Young Political Leaders (ACYPL) and the Fundacion Universitaria Rio de la Plata (FURP). Every other year a group from Argentina travels to the United States. On the alternate years a group comes from the U.S. to Argentina. This year the group going to the United States includes young political leaders from Uruguay, as well. They will be meeting with a wide range of politicians and social and business leaders in Washington, Oklahoma, and Oregon. The program is funded through a grant from the U.S. Department of State.
