Ambassador Wayne at the 6th EducationUSA Fair

Ambassador Wayne visited the University Fair organized in the Sheraton Hotel in Buenos Aires by the Department of State, September 5, coordinated by ICANA.  The Fulbright Commission provides counseling to Argentines who want to study in the U.S.  Visitors can explore study abroad opportunities such as intensive English courses and undergraduate and graduate programs.  Student visa information is also available.

As the Ambassador toured the event, he conversed with U.S. university representatives and learned of their eagerness to have Argentine students.  He also chatted with many young Argentines seeking information on admissions processes and scholarship opportunities.  Many had been working to master English and shared high hopes with the Ambassador of going abroad to obtain a degree that would advance their career aspirations and make a significant contribution to their future professional life.
