AMBASSADOR WAYNE ATTENDS CATHOLIC UNIVERSITY ANTI-CORRUPTION COURSE GRADUATION
November 26, 2007
“The US embassy is pleased to have sponsored graduate training in anti-corruption skills over the past six years. Through this important collaboration with Catholic University and the private sector, public officials learn anti-corruption tools that will make them leaders in good governance and the effective use of public resources,” the Ambassador stated as he congratulated program graduates.
Ambassador Wayne participated in the graduation ceremony for over 35 students who completed a year of studies at the Argentine Catholic University’s sixth annual graduate course on “International Rules Against Corruption.”
The graduate course was developed with the support of the US Embassy and three private corporate sponsors (Merck, Sharp & Dohme, General Electric and Loma Negra) and provides anti-corruption training for key public officials including judges, public prosecutors, and law clerks.
