DEPUTY FOREIGN MINISTER TACCETTI OFFERS A FAREWELL TOAST IN HONOR OF AMBASSADOR WAYNE

Argentine Deputy Foreign Minister Victorio Taccetti offered a farewell toast on May 28 at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, International Trade and Worship in honor of Ambassador Wayne as he concludes his diplomatic mission in Argentina.
“I am very pleased that bilateral relations between Argentina and the United States are excellent, fortified by a foundation of longstanding cooperation in many fields, with the potential for becoming even stronger.” -- said Ambassador Wayne.
During the event gathering Argentine Foreign Ministry officials, representatives of foreign diplomatic missions in Buenos Aires and special guests, the Ambassador thanked Deputy Foreign Minister Taccetti and Foreign Minister Taiana for all the support, goodwill and friendship as they worked together to strengthen and deepen bilateral relations based on longstanding cooperation in many varied fields. “I want to thank Ambassador Taccetti and his colleagues deeply for having shared their views and valuable counsel, which have helped me in my efforts to understand Argentina and to consolidate our ties with this beautiful and rich country.”—said Ambassador Wayne. At the end of the reception, the Ambassador said good-bye in the following words: “You contributed enormously to my tenure here in Argentina. The Argentine nation is well served by having such a collection of talented professionals at this Ministry.”
