AMBASSADOR WAYNE MEETS WITH SUN MICROSYSTEMS EXECUTIVE

Ambassador Wayne met on May 14 with Alejandro Raffaele, new country manager of Sun Microsystems. Sun Microsystems is an American company doing business in Argentina since 1995 that has believed in the country and its potential from the very beginning. The company currently employs 150 and 500 people in direct and indirect jobs, respectively. The company is a leading provider of information technology infrastructure with major clients in many industries such as telecommunications, banking, finance and retail, and has also developed an excellent HR training program in collaboration with the Argentine Ministry of Labor. The new Country Manager told the Ambassador about Sun’s growth in Argentina over time and its major projects in several provinces.
