AMBASSADOR WAYNE MEETS THE CHAMPION ARGENTINE NATIONAL UNDER-20 SOCCER TEAM

Ambassador Wayne met on April 30 with members of the Argentine National Under-20 Soccer Team. The Team visited the Embassy to pick up their visas for their trip to the U.S. with final destination in Canada to participate in the FIFA Under-20 World Cup.  Argentina won the Cup on July 22. This is the sixth time Argentina has won this World Cup. Previous championship teams were in 1979; 1995; 1997; 2001; and 2005.
