AMBASSADOR HIGHLIGHTS PRIVATE-TO-PRIVATE BILATERAL COOPERATION IN SOYBEAN SECTOR

Ambassador Earl Anthony Wayne received on Wednesday, January 17, the leaders of the American Soybean Association (ASA), who briefed him on progress being made in bilateral cooperation in the private sector after a joint trade mission to India in December 2006.
ASA leaders Bob Metz and Rick Ostlie said Argentina and the US enjoy great opportunities to open new product markets such as India for their products and highlighted the need for strengthened cooperation in the sector. Ambassador Wayne, in turn, said that it was an honor for him to see Argentine and US industries working side-by-side to create solutions that would benefit all parties.
