AMBASSADOR WAYNE MEETS JOHN SCOFIELD TRIO

Ambassador Wayne meets with the American jazz guitarist John Scofield, along with his Trio and the ScoHorns on May 26 in advance of their concert in the Teatro Gran Rex. The Grammy Award-winning artist plays regularly in Buenos Aires and is much prized by many Argentine fans as is bass player Steve Swallow, rated as one of the best jazz bassists in the world. The U.S. Embassy arranged for Argentine jazz musicians and music students to attend the band’s pre-concert sound check and meet briefly with them to share musical notes.
