AMBASSADOR WAYNE PRESENTS LETTER OF CREDENTIALS

Ambassador Earl Anthony Wayne presented on Friday, January 19th, his letter of credentials to Vice-President Daniel Scioli during a ceremony at the Casa Rosada. After the meeting with the vice-president, the Ambassador laid a wreath at the Monument of Argentina’s Independence hero, General José de San Martín. The two ceremonies complete the formal steps of Ambassador Wayne’s accreditation as the US Ambassador to Argentina. The Ambassador said that he was optimistic about the future of relations between Argentina and the US and added, “I believe Argentina and the US are stronger when we work together.”
