Thomas Kelly met with Cordoba Governor Juan Schiaretti

Charge d’Affaires Thomas Kelly met with Cordoba Governor Juan Schiaretti on August 26.  The Governor, who is scheduled to travel to the United States in the near future, talked about his trip plans, which include a call on the World Bank and the IDB, to explore possible avenues of cooperation for his province.  During the meeting, the two officials discussed the global economic situation, its impact on Cordoba province, and the Governor provided an update on developments in his province. 

"I expressed my appreciation for the Governor’s visit and underscored our government's interest in continuing our collaboration with all levels of the Argentine government," said Mr. Kelly.
