RECEPTION FOR EARTH DAY
April 20, 2006
Ambassador Gutierrez hosted a reception at his Residence in commemoration of Earth Day on April 20. At the event, four distinguished Argentines received awards for their work on behalf of the environment. Pictured receiving his award is Atilio Savino, Secretary of Environment and Sustainable Development. Also receiving awards were Maria Carmen Galloni, Globe School Program Director and Director of the Environmental and Social Sciences Institute at the University of Business and Social Sciences, Luis Couyoupetrou, Undersecretary of Environment and Argentine Representative to the Enterprise for the Americas Fund, and Hector Laurance, Enterprise for the Americas Fund President and President of Vida Silvestre.
