Ambassador Wayne Supports RockandVIDA 2008

Ambassador Wayne with Guardian

With over 15,000 people in their audience, the U.S. band Guardian rocked at Plaza de Mayo at a event organized by the Centro Cristiano Nueva Vida-CCNV on December 6.  Ambassador E. Anthony Wayne attended the 5th edition of RockandVIDA, a rock festival designed to strengthen awareness about HIV/AIDS.  The young audience clearly enjoyed one of  their favorite US Christian rock bands and sang along with their Spanish songs for over an hour.  Ambassador Wayne met the band before the concert and thanked them for participating in such a great cause.  At the event a great deal of food was collected to distribute in soup kitchens of Buenos Aires.
