THE EMBASSY ORGANIZES A MEETING WITH YOUNG LEADERS FROM POLITICAL PARTIES

In a joint effort between the US Embassy and Red Ideas para la Libertad y la Democracia (Network of Ideas for Freedom and Democracy) NGO, representatives from this diplomatic mission, members of Red Ideas and young leaders representing youth groups from different Argentine political parties and coalitions shared a dinner on September 25 at the American Club. There was an interesting exchange of ideas regarding youth’s prominent role within the parties' organizations, the different tasks they usually fulfill, and the challenges they face. The group also raised the importance of a fluid dialogue between both countries in order to strengthen bilateral relations. Everyone agreed on the importance of this sort of events to improve mutual understanding and knowledge between both nations. The principal representatives of political youth groups from ARI, MID, Mendoza Democrat Party, Justicialist Party, Pampa Sur Party, PRO, Recrear, UCR and Union Por Todos atended the event.
