Salta

Mauro Agustín Caliba is a university student from the city of Salta. In 2008, Mauro completed his secondary education at the Salesian School Ángel Zerda. Mauro is currently a Business Administration freshman at the National University of Salta. Mauro would like to become a journalist with special focus on international politics in the future. He has been studying English for eight years.
 
MARTIN LA ROSA (18)
Córdoba

Martín La Rosa is a student from Córdoba city.  Martín is currently a seventh grader at the IPEM 247 Ing. Cassaffousth high school. In the future, Martín would like to study civil engineering and construction-related subjects as well as road and river infrastructure in particular. He studied English for two years at IICANA BNC thanks to the Sarmiento-Mann program.
 
IARA LUQUE BLANCO (16)
Chaco

Iara Luque Blanco is a student from the city of Puerto Tirol in Chaco. Iara is a high-school student at UEP Nº 21 "María Auxiliadora" school and studies English at Instituto Chaqueño de Cultura Inglesa in Resistencia city, Chaco province. Iara dances tango and one of her favorite hobbies is reading. Iara would like to be a physician in the future.
 
DANIELA MEDINA (17)
Buenos Aires

Daniela Medina is a student from Caseros, Buenos Aires province.  Daniela is currently finishing high-school at Cristo Rey Institute. She is also completing her sixth year of English studies and preparing the First Certificate exam. Daniela would like to study Psychology in the future. Hobby: dancing.
 
ANDREA MINGOLLA PATTON (18)
Tucuman

Andrea Mingolla Patton is a university student from the city of San Miguel de Tucumán, Tucumán. Andrea is starting her Communications Sciences studies at the National University of Tucumán. Andrea studied English for more than six years at ATICANA BNC and is taking the Michigan University ECCE (Examination for the Certificate of Competency in English) this year. Her hobbies are reading, listening to music and swimming.
 
RODRIGO PERELLO (17)
Rio Negro

Rodrigo Perello is a student from General Conesa city in the province of  Río Negro. Rodrigo is currently a fifth grade secondary student and has been studying English for six years. In the future, Rodrigo would like to learn other languages such as German and Portuguese. Rodrigo’s hobbies are playing volleyball and paddle. He is very interested in traveling, getting to know other cultures, languages and places.
 
ROMINA PONCIO (17)
Santiago del Estero

Romina Florencia Poncio is a student from the city of Santiago del Estero.  Romina will complete his secondary studies this year. In 2008, Romina finished her English studies at ASICANA BNC and passed the international exams TOEIC and ECCE.
 
MARCOS PORRINI (18)
Capital Federal

Marcos David Porrini is a university student from the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires. In 2009, Marcos started his Bachelor of Music studies at the National University of Tres de Febrero. Marcelo is devoted to the arts. He is a guitarist, composer and writer. Marcelo also shows great interest in politics and admires former U.S. President Jimmy Carter.
 
MAIRA RAIMONDI (17)
Santa Cruz

Maira Raimondi studies and lives in El Calafate, Santa Cruz province. Maira  has studied at the Polimodal Nº9 secondary school. Maira has participated in the “Parliament for Peace” program in her province and has worked with “Mil Milenios de Paz” Foundation at the national level. Maira would like to study law and international relations and work for an Embassy or Foreign Affairs Department, travel around the world working for peace and human rights.
 
ALEJANDRA WATERLOO (16)
Entre Rios

Alejandra Waterloo is a student from the city of Concepción del Uruguay in the province of Entre Ríos. Alejandra is currently in her second year of   polimodal studies (secondary education in Bs.As. province) at the Histórico Colegio del Uruguay, also attended by former president Julio Argentino Roca. Alejandra studies English since she is seven years old and has also been practicing volleyball for four years.
