AMBASSADOR WAYNE MEETS PALOMA HERRERA

Ambassador Wayne hosted Argentine-born, internationally acclaimed ballerina Ms. Paloma Herrera at his residence for coffee September 13. Ms. Herrera has made a significant impact on the arts in the United States, including as the Principal Dancer of the American Ballet Theater, and as a member of the prestigious Artists Committee of the Kennedy Center Honorees. The New York Times named her one of the 30 artists most likely to change the culture over the next 30 years. Ms. Herrera told Ambassador Wayne of the high quality cultural exchange she has been organizing throughout her career, bringing the best American dancers and dance companies to perform in Argentina.
