How to apply for a visa
By mail - Applicants under 14 years old and over 79 by mail without a personal interview
Some Argentine CITIZENS under age 14 and over age 79, applying with an Argentine passport, may qualify for this program.
Who can apply for Drop Box?
*Applicants under 14 years old who have at least one Argentine CITIZEN parent in possession of a valid visa of the same visa category they are requesting for their children.
The following cases will not be accepted:
Children under 14, if one parent holds a US Passport.
*Applicants over 79 years old who:
-Are Argentine CITIZENS applying with an Argentine passport. was not previously refused a visa,
- Have not had a previous visa lost, stolen or revoked within the last 10 years.
- Have never been arrested or convicted of a crime, deported from the United States, denied entry to the United States, or have had any other problems or difficulties with U.S. Customs and Border Patrol when attempting to enter the United States.

Required Documents
1) VALID PASSPORT
2) DS-160 confirmation page
3) MRV fee receipt
For minors under 14:
• COPY of birth certificate and/or family book of the minor applicant;
• Copies of parents’ passport bio pages; and
• Copy of valid visa(s) of parents.
IMPORTANT: Be aware that it is required that both minors and parents be physically present in Argentina at the time of application.
For applicants over 80:
• IF RELATIVES/FRIENDS IN THE U.S.: proof of legal status, e.g.: copy of Green Card, copy of valid visa or work permit, etc.
• MEDICAL/TRAVELER’S INSURANCE which covers for any existing illness.
Important: The Consular Officer reserves the right to interview any applicant for any reason.
