AMBASSADOR WAYNE ATTENDS SECOND ANNIVERSARY OF NEWSWEEK ARGENTINA

Ambassador Wayne attended the second anniversary of the launch of Newsweek Argentina September 11, 2008, edited by Alex Milberg and owned by Sergio Spolsky. During the event, Newsweek Argentina’s editor emphasized goals of press freedom and high quality journalism. Visiting Newsweek editor, Daniel Klaidman, explained his appreciation for the excellence of Argentine journalists working at the news magazine. Sergio Spolskiy offered some moving remarks on the occasion of the seventh anniversary of the terrorist attacks in New York, Pennsylvania and Washington D.C. and presented Ambassador Wayne with a framed certificate documenting the planting of a dozen trees in Jerusalem in commemoration of the lives lost in these attacks.
