Chargé D’Affaires Thomas Kelly Welcomes Newly Arrived Economic, Finance and Science Officers

Chargé D’Affaires Thomas Kelly welcomed newly arrived Economic Counselor John Fennerty, as well as Financial Attaché Jason Witow, Economic Officer Gerard Hodel, and Science Officer Russell Menyhart, with a reception at the Ambassador’s Official Residence on September 11 to introduce them to representatives of the Argentine Government, business community, and civil society.

In his welcoming remarks, Mr. Kelly underlined the significance of economic issues to the relationship between the United States and Argentina. “One of the most important aspects of our bilateral relationship with Argentina is our economic tie and John and his team are arriving as we look to work together with Argentina to restore economic growth and prosperity for our nations and globally.” – said Mr. Kelly.
