MEETING WITH JOURNALISTS TRAVELING TO THE U.S. SPONSORED BY MONSANTO

Ambassador Wayne met on August 15 with a group of Argentine economic journalists that will travel to the United States at the end of August. The group will visit the Farm Progress Show in Iowa, and will attend several meetings with the government in Washington DC. These include representatives of the State Department, the US Department of Agriculture and the US Trade Representative. Key topics of the discussions will include biotechnology, intellectual property rights and global agricultural supply and demand.
