AMBASSADOR WAYNE MEETS WITH ECONOMY MINISTER CARLOS FERNANDEZ

Ambassador Wayne met with Economy Minister Carlos Fernandez on May 28. The Ambassador and the Minister talked about economic aspects of Argentine – United States bilateral and multilateral agenda.
This is the first meeting between the Ambassador and the Minister. During this courtesy call they agreed to work closely in areas of common interest.
“I thank the Minister for receiving me today and I reaffirm the will of the U.S. government and the Embassy of the United States in Buenos Aires to work hand in hand with the Argentine government in many issues we share at bilateral, regional and multilateral levels." -- Ambassador Wayne said after the meeting.
