AMBASSADOR WAYNE WITH GABRIELA MICHETTI

Vicemayor of Buenos Aires Gabriela Michetti was received by Ambassador Wayne at the Embassy on September 11. During the meeting, the Ambassador and Mrs. Michetti covered areas of common interest such as security and education. Mrs. Michetti made use of the occasion to introduce Carlos Ares, coordinator of the Buenos Aires Bicentennial in 2010. Ambassador Wayne offered his team to help with the coordination and objectives of the Bicentennial Committee. The Ambassador also said he was ready to continue working with the authorities of the city of Buenos Aires as well as national and other local governments to strengthen the ties between our two countries.
