AMBASSADOR WAYNE ATTENDS RONALD MCDONALD'S HOUSE ANNUAL CHARITY DINNER

Ambassador Wayne attended on August 25 Ronald McDonald’s House Charity Dinner in support of the construction of the first Ronald McDonald’s family room at the Garraham Hospital. Mr. Woods Staton, President & CEO of Arcos Dorados, hosted the event. Among the distinguished guests were Mr. Mauricio Macri, Buenos Aires City Mayor, José Valledor President of Ronald McDonald's House and Pipo Fernández, President, McDonald's Argentina.
The first Ronald McDonald’s House was established in Buenos Aires in 1998 as a home-away-from-home for families of children receiving cancer treatment or organ transplants. In 2001, Hospital Austral and Ronald McDonald’s House launched the mobile pediatric unit. Subsequently, in 2003, a new Ronald McDonald’s House was inaugurated in Mendoza, and in March 2008, the third Ronald McDonald’s House was established in Córdoba.
