Embassy Family Member Female Baseball Player Visits with IICANA Academic Director at the Torneo Nacional de Infantiles

As part of the selection team La Liga Metropolitan de Beisbol in Buenos Aires, US Embassy Family Member, Mallori Cesario, participated in the Torneo Nacional de Infantiles at the Dolphins Club in Cordoba on September 27.  Mallori also met with the IICANA Academic Director, Eleonora  Salas and shared her experiences as one of three female baseball players representing Buenos Aires. There were 8 teams in total from Buenos Aires, Cordoba, and Salta. 

The opportunity to learn more about baseball and Mallori’s experiences was very much appreciated by Eleonora Salas,  “It was a pleasure to meet Mallori and her Dad…it was a totally new experience…we really appreciated their kindness.”
