AMBASSADOR WAYNE MET WITH THE “MOTHERS AGAINST PACO” AT THE CONVIVEN COMMUNITY CENTRE

Ambassador Wayne met with the "Mothers Against Paco" at the Conviven Community Center, in Mataderos. Ambassador Wayne was deeply moved by the stories he heard from the leader of the group, María Rosa González, and the other mothers, who aim at setting up a regional network to better fight drug-lords ruining their children’s life. Rosa explained how she works to arrange specific treatment and hospitalization requirement for the children victimized by this addiction. She also dedicates significant effort to prevention, arranging healthy youth activities such as soccer and dance.
