“LANDMARKS OF NEW YORK” PHOTO EXHIBIT OPENS AT FAENA HOTEL

Ambassador Wayne gave remarks at the opening of the photographic exhibit “Landmarks of New York” at the Faena Hotel on February 4. The exhibit was shown for the first time in 2005 at the Municipal Art Society of New York City to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the passage of the New York City Landmarks Law and has toured through 40 countries in the world. The 80 black and white framed photographs are accompanied by a description of the cultural, historical, and architectural significance of each historic site.
Sponsored by the US Embassy and the Faena Art District, the exhibit will be open to the public until February 29. Entrance is free.
