AMBASSADOR WAYNE MEETS WITH FORMER MINISTER ALBERTO IRIBARNE

Ambasador Wayne met on September 30 with Alberto Iribarne, former Minister of Justice and Human Rights during the administration of president Nestor Kirchner. During the meeting, the Ambassador thanked Dr. Iribarne for the joint work the Ministry and the Embassy have done in fighting money laundering and terrorism financing. The Ambassador and Mr. Iribarne also discussed the coming U.S. elections and the importance of having Argentine observers during the last days of the campaign and Election Day, to witness the American democratic process in action.
