AMBASSADOR WAYNE AND AMCHAM DISCUSS INVESTMENT OPPORTUNITIES WITH ARGENTINE GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS

Ambassador Wayne and AmCham President Juan Bruchou met March 9 with the head of the newly established Argentine Investment Development Agency, Beatriz Nofal (third from left), and Argentine Ambassador to the United States, José Octavio Bordón (first from left), to discuss investment promotion opportunities for Argentina. Nofal, who took office on March 6, outlined the agency's strategy for attracting the additional investment to the country. Bruchou and members of the AmCham board pledged to help in this effort.  The United States is one of the largest sources of investment in Argentina.  The AMCHAM represents over 450 US companies that employ some 150,000 Argentines.
