EducationUSA Offices at Binational Centers in Mendoza and Cordoba Prepare to Celebrate Internatinoal Education Week
EducationUSA at AMICANA, Mendoza is organizing a contest for English Language students called “Flags of the World”. Each class will use any techniques and materials they wish to come up with the ‘most creative’ flag. The contest is open until November 14.
EducationUSA at ARICANA also has a shared activity with the Binational Center from Santa Fe, ALICANA where the advisors will visit and deliver presentations about the many educational possibilities in the U.S. not only to their students but also at other educational institutions. EducationUSA advisors will also be completing a series of Intercultural Classes with a private university with international education as one of the primary themes.
In addition to organizing an essay contests for students with the theme Importance of International Education, EducationUSA at IICANA Cordoba is also participating in the Virtual College Fair on November 13 through the events listed below. These events are open to the public:
• Webinar “ Choosing a US institution”
2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. Free registration at
www.collegeweeklive.com/EducationUSA
• Live Portion
4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Students can visit institutions’ booths and
“meet” with representatives, participate in text and video chats and
access resource material.
• Third Segment
8:00 p.m. 9:00 p.m. Students can visit institutions’ booths; view
recorded video chats, access resource material and review any
of the thematic sessions on demand.
