CHARGÉ D’AFFAIRES THOMAS KELLY SEES OFF BLIND ATHLETES PARTICIPATING IN THE 7TH EDITION OF IBSA PANAMERICAN GAMES 2009 IN THE US

Chargé d’Affaires Thomas Kelly received on July 2 a group of 19 athletes from the Argentine Blind Sports Federation (FADECAC) travelling to the United States to participate in the 7th edition of the Panamerican International Blind Sports Association Games to be held in Colorado Spring this month.
“We are proud to welcome you to our country and you should be proud of your achievements as representatives of Argentina.” – said Chargé d’Affaires Thomas Kelly upon seeing off the athletes.
During the meeting also attended by FADECAC President Dr. Domingo Latela, Mr. Kelly took the opportunity to welcome the delegation and congratulated them on their numerous successes on the national and international level, and wish them luck as they compete in goalball (a type of handball for the blind), judo, swimming and track and field.
