AMBASSADOR WAYNE ATTENDS GENERAL MOTORS’ 100TH ANNIVERSARY DINNER

On August 6, Ambassador Wayne attended the dinner celebrating General Motors 100th. anniversary. The event was hosted by AFAC (Asociacion de Fabricas Argentinas de Componentes) at the Club de Automóvilers Clásicos in San Isidro. Among the guests were GM Argentina President Edgardo Lourençon, AFAC President Rodolfo Achile and the well-known Argentine racing champion, Jose Froilan Gonzalez.
A highlight of the event was the projection of a short movie on the “Stoessel brothers raid”, two Argentines who in 1928 traveled from Olavarria, Province of Buenos Aires, to the U.S. in a 1928 Chevrolet Phaeton.
