AMBASSADOR WAYNE MEETS WITH JOSE LUIS GIOJA

San Juan Governor Jose Luis Gioja met ON October 28 with Ambassador Wayne and Deputy Chief of Mission Tom Kelly during his visit to Buenos Aires. During the meeting, the two officials discussed the global economic situation, the upcoming U.S. presidential elections, and the Governor provided an update on developments in his province. The Governor expressed enthusiasm about his upcoming trip to the United States to observe the presidential elections. “I expressed my appreciation for the Governor’s visit and his interest in visiting the United States to observe the presidential elections. I remarked that it is an excellent opportunity to see U.S. democracy in action,” the Ambassador said.
