Ambassador Wayne Presents the “US Classic GIII” Race Award at Palermo’s Argentine Horse Track

Ambassador Wayne attended on March 22 the 1,000 m race “U.S. Classic GIII" at Palermo’s Argentine Horse Track. The Ambassador was invited by the authorities of H.A.P.S.A. (Hipódromo Argentino de Palermo, Sociedad Anónima) and U.S. Embassy Charge d’Affairs was also present at the event.

I congratulate the winning jockey for his great skills to ride this wonderful thoroughbred and for giving us such a thrilling race experience!”— highlighted Ambassador Wayne.
The Ambassador enjoyed the race accompanied by H.A.P.S.A.’s Racing Committee President Mr. Antonio Bullrich. The Ambassador and Mr. Bullrich talked about the history of the Palermo’s track and its long-standing derby tradition with famous jockeys and horses.
Following the race, the Ambassador presented the race award to the owner of the winning horse "Qué Buena Vida" (What a Good Life). The Ambassador also presented gifts to jockey Pablo Falero winning a thrilling race with "Qué Buena Vida".
After presenting the award, the Ambassador and Charge d’Affairs Kelly talked with Mr. Antonio Bullrich and H.A.P.S.A.’s President Mr. Federico de Achával about the projects of the institution and familiarized themselves with the Horse Villa located at the track compound.
