Ambassador Wayne Receives Argentine Video Game Entreprenuers

Ambassador Wayne with a group of 20 Argentine video game entrepreneurs and developers

Ambassador Wayne received on May 22 a group of 20 Argentine video game entrepreneurs and developers back from the Game Developers Conference 2009 held in San Francisco, California in March.

“I admire the creativity and talent of these outstanding video game entrepreneurs and developers and hope their participation in the Game Developers Conference 2009 held in San Francisco opens new doors to the international market.” said Ambassador Wayne.

Also present at the meeting were City of Buenos Aires Minister of Economic Development Francisco Cabrera and Director General of Foreign Trade Enrique Avogadro.

During the meeting, the outstanding Argentine video game entrepreneurs and developers told the Ambassador about the current development conditions of the local industry and the market expectations for the future. They also said that participation in the San Francisco conference was very important for them to network with game developers from all over the world.

The Argentine delegation’s trip to the conference was supported by the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires Ministry of Economic Development Foreign Trade General Bureau and General Bureau of Creative Industries.
