PRESIDENT OF THE PHILADELPHIA MUSEUM OF ART VISITS BUENOS AIRES

Gail Harrity, President and Chief of Operations a the Philadelphia Museum of Art visited Buenos Aires sponsored by the Embassy, ICANA and the Direction of Museums of the City of Buenos Aires. On Monday, October 26, Mrs. Harrity visited the construction site of the Museum of Modern Art of Buenos Aires -MAMBA- accompanied by Florencia Braga Menendez, Director of Museums of the City, and the architects in charge. Mrs. Harrity discussed construction issues along with future educational projects and the impact that the museum will have in the community. Finally, on October 27, Mrs. Harrity lectured at the Borges Cultural Center on Museums Sustainability. Among the audience where directors of museums, art organizations and students.
