Ambassador Earl Anthony Wayne met on May 28 at the Embassy with members of the Argentine soccer national team who will be traveling to the United States for exhibition games against Mexico and US national teams. Ambassador Wayne talked with Fernando Cavenaghi, Lisandro López, Julio Cruz, Jonás Gutiérrez, Maximiliano Rodríguez, Gonzalo Rodríguez and Gabriel Heinze. The Argentine team coached by Alfio Basile is scheduled to play on June 4 in San Diego and June 8 at the Giant Stadium in New Jersey.
