“New York, September 11th by Magnum Photographers”

The United State Embassy hosts the photograph exhibit "New York, September 11th by Magnum Photographers" to commemorate the 5th anniversary of 9/11.

The exhibition will be open on September 7 at 7:00 p. m. until October 1st. Centro Cultural Borges, Pabellón Las Naciones (Viamonte and San Martin - 2nd. Floor, room 24). The exhibition features almost 40 photographs. On that morning in 2001, eleven members of the legendary Magnum Photographers photo agency immediately dispersed from their meeting in New York to document the events as they unfolded, to record the incomprehensible.

Their photographs compellingly capture the events of 9/11/01. Most of the photos were taken on the day of the attack and in the days immediately afterward.
