Agricultural Counselor

Welcome to the Home Page of the Office of Agricultural Affairs at the American Embassy in Buenos Aires. My name is Robert K. Hoff and I'm the U.S. Agricultural Counselor for Argentina.

The Office of Agricultural Affairs, located in the U.S. Embassy in Buenos Aires, Argentina is the overseas arm of the Foreign Agricultural Service, and is responsible for representing U.S. agricultural interests in Argentina, Paraguay, and Uruguay. These interests include promoting exports of agricultural products from the United States and working to eliminate barriers that negatively affect trade. We also report on production and trade of commodities locally so that agriculturalists worldwide are better informed.
