AMBASSADOR WAYNE ATTENDS LAUNCHING OF NEW FORD FOCUS

On August 11, Ambassador Wayne attended the launching of the new Ford Focus at Ford's plant located in General Pacheco, Tigre. Ford Argentina has invested approximately 90 million dollars to produce the new vehicle that will be sold in Argentina and exported to other Latin American countries. President Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner and several members of her cabinet were also present at the event and praised Ford's commitment to job creation and education in Argentina.
“This launching is another excellent example of Ford’s commitment to the Argentine market and its confidence in the country during all these years. Together with Argentine creativity and innovation, we must highlight de level and talent of the company’s workers,” the Ambassador said.
