The U.S. Embassy in Argentina, with the assistance of Junior Achievement, sponsored the participation of three Argentine students in the Free Enterprise Leadership Challenge (FELC), that was held at The Jesse Helms Center in Wingate, North Carolina.
The FELC program is an effective way to promote students' understanding of business, personal responsibility, and the opportunities available to them in a free enterprise system. During their week-long stay, students interact with prominent community and business leaders who share success stories and answer students' questions about their careers. The program’s goal is to foster business and community leaders who are actively involved in creating jobs and developing human resources.
2008 selected participants: Angel Bustos (Santa Rosa, Mendoza), Guillermo Chas (Buenos Aires), and Stefano Baradello (Neuquén).
