EDUCATION USA FAIR 2010 IN BUENOS AIRES

Annual Education USA South America University Fair was held at the Sheraton Libertador Hotel in Buenos Aires

On Monday, September 6th, 2010 the 8th Annual Education USA South America University Fair was held at the Sheraton Libertador Hotel in Buenos Aires.  This year, 13 Universities provided information on undergraduate and graduate studies, Intensive English Language and Professional courses, scholarship opportunities and admission procedures to US universities. A total of 440 students, parents and professionals attended the event. Of those, 113 ACCESS scholars were in attendance, many of whom offered help during the pre-event set-up and in the reception area.
 
The Embassy Information Resource Center, Fulbright Commission, and ICANA's Education USA Advising Office, Visa Section and Testing Department participated in information sessions covering areas such as: available research material at the Embassy, student visas, the admissions process and international exams.
 
The University Representatives also visited the Lincoln American International School (La Lucila, Buenos Aires) the morning before the event, where approximately 110 students and parents were present to receive information about undergraduate program offerings.
