AMBASSADOR WAYNE MAKES DONATION IN MATADEROS
March 22, 2007

Ambassador Wayne on March 22 visited two NGOs, Conviven and PH 15, in Mataderos, where he met with authorities and donated computers, a printer and a collection of classic children’s books by US authors.

Ambassador Wayne on March 22 visited two NGOs, Conviven and PH 15, in Mataderos, where he met with authorities and donated computers, a printer and a collection of classic children’s books by US authors. Conviven is a community centre that works with some 450 children and youth aged four to 21 in Villa Lugano and Mataderos to promote cultural and educational activities. Fundación PH 15 conducts a photography workshop at Conviven facilities aimed at giving disadvantaged youth an avenue for personal artistic expression and helping them improve their labor prospects. During his visit, the Ambassador invited PH 15’s students to conduct a photographic field trip at his residence, a historic building in the city of Buenos Aires.
