ENGLISH TEACHERS TRAVEL TO THE UNITED STATES TO ATTEND LANGUAGE TRAINING SPONSORED BY THE EMBASSY

Ambassador Gutierrez met with the seven English teachers to participate in the course of TIEC

Ambassador Lino Gutierrez met with seven secondary-school English teachers from various provinces in Argentina who will attend a two week intensive English language training institute administered by the Texas International Educational Consortium (TIEC). The institute will offer training in the latest teaching methodologies and materials, which will improve the teachers' ability to increase the English language skills of their students in Argentina, a real benefit in this era of globalization. These Youth Ambassadors will visit schools and experience homestays with Austin families, where they are expected to share Argentine culture and values with Americans.
