Chargé d'Affaires Thomas Kelly met with Prosecutor General Esteban Righi on August 20 to analyze issues in the common agenda and explore potential issues of cooperation in the future.

Mr. Kelly outlined the various ongoing cooperation efforts between the Government of the United States and the Argentine judicial branch and law enforcement agencies, including specialized training on money laundering, terrorist finance, counter-narcotics, trafficking in persons and strengthening capacity of the judiciary, among other issues.  “Our cooperation is broad and diverse, and we have begun exploring other areas of joint work that will certainly bring us mutual benefits,” said Mr. Kelly upon leaving the meeting.
