EMBASSY HOSTS U.S SPEAKER ON YOUTH LEADERSHIP FOR AT-RISK COMMUNITIES

Embassy Buenos Aires hosted U.S. Speaker Mr. Juan Casimiro, Executive Vice President of
YoungBiz International, for a 5-day visit to Buenos Aires, Santiago del Estero, and Mar del Plata to discuss “Youth Leadership for At-Risk Communities” and “Starting a Successful Microenterprise”. Mr. Casimiro met with local NGOs, government officials, young leaders, and the media to discuss methods and best practices for starting successful businesses run by young people, the five key elements to finding opportunities for start-up community projects, evaluating one’s potential for success as a young entrepreneur, and motivating communities to start youth-run microenterprises. Mr. Casimiro also toured successful projects in Santiago del Estero, Buenos Aires and Mar del Plata.
