ARGENTINE YOUNG PROFESSIONAL TRAVELS TO THE UNITED STATES FOR A UNIVERSITY SUMMER PROGRAM

Ambassador Lino Gutierrez met with Eduardo Diez of the Argentine-American Dialogue. Mr. Diez will participate in the four-week long Pacific Rim Seminar on U.S. Studies at the University of California San Diego. The Summer Seminar is a four-week program for young professionals from Asia and Latin America who want to deepen their understanding of the United States. Taught by distinguished scholars and practitioners, the Summer Seminar immerses participants in the analysis of U.S. political and economic history, the conduct of U.S. government, the making of U.S. economic and foreign policy, U.S. political parties and elections, and U.S. mass media. The program offers the unique opportunity for individuals from across the Pacific Rim to learn about the United States by exchanging ideas with internationally renowned faculty and with each other.
