SEMINAR FOR ALUMNI IN THE ENGLISH TEACHING FIELD

The Embassy and the Educational and Cultural Affairs Alumni Office of the State Department will host the first seminar on English Teaching and Technology.  The seminar is a follow-up of the Teacher Ambassador Program and International Visitor Programs for English Language Teachers from Argentina.  Professor Deanne Hochstein, Department of Linguistics, University of Oregon and Professor Joelle Uzarski, Regional English Language Officer will conduct a two day seminar for approximately 50 alumni, who will get together for the first time in Buenos Aires for networking and to learn about the new technologies applied to the English Language Teaching.

The Seminar will take place at ICANA (BNC Buenos Aires) premises. The alumni will make presentations to share and exchange ideas and activities for their classroom settings.
