AMBASSADOR VILMA MARTINEZ PRESENTS CREDENTIALS TO PRESIDENT CRISTINA FERNANDEZ DE KIRCHNER

Ambassador Vilma Martinez presented her letters of credentials to President Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner at a ceremony held in Casa Rosada on October 19. The Ambassadors of Mexico, Pakistan, South Africa and Panama also presented their credentials.
“I am honored to present my credentials to President Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner who received me warmly and kindly. I hope we continue to work together to strengthen our excellent bilateral relationship,” said Ambassador Martinez.
After meeting the President, Ambassador Martinez proceeded to Plaza San Martin to lay a wreath by the monument in honor of General San Martin. The Granaderos Guard sounded reveille and a after a moment of silence, Ambassador Martinez headed to the Ministry of Foreign Relations headquartered at the “Palacio San Martin” to attend a toast in honor of the new diplomats.
