FULBRIGHT ALUMNI MEET WITH U.S. COLLEGE PRESIDENT

During the visit of the U.S. Congressional Delegation led by Congressman Jerry Costello, a group of alumni of the Fulbright Program met with Dr. Georgia Costello, President of Southwestern Illinois College. Dr. Costello described the work of Southwestern Illinois College and of community colleges in the U.S.
Dr. Norma Gonzalez gave a presentation on the programs of the Fulbright Commission in Argentina and introduced a group of Fulbright alumni who had studied in a wide range of U.S. universities in fields including education, law, and public policy.
The Fulbright Commission in Argentina is a bilateral commission of the governments of the United States and Argentina. Each year it gives our more than 100 scholarships to Argentines to study in the United States and more than 80 grants for U.S. scholars to come to Argentina.
