AMBASSADOR WAYNE RECEIVES FREE JAZZ SAXOPHON LEGEND ORNETTE COLEMAN

Ambassador Wayne received on May 13 famous American saxophonist Ornette Coleman and band members Al McDownell (double bass), Tony Falanga (electric banjo) and Denaro Coleman (drums). The free jazz legendary musician performed in Buenos Aires and La Pata. Coleman is also a trumpeter and a violinist and is considered a founding figure in the avant-garde of jazz and a ground-breaking innovator within the free jazz landscape.
During the encounter, the Ambassador and Coleman talked about the local interest in jazz and rich jazz activity as well as the musician's succesful and extensive career in the United States and other countries that have acclaimed him.
“Coleman's famed career as jazz musician shows his huge talent and creativity over more than 60 years dedicated to the music,” said Ambassador Wayne.
